Rok Cestnik

Rok Cestnik received his bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Ljubljana and recieved his master’s degree in physics of complex systems from the University of Balearic Islands.  His master’s thesis, under the supervision of Dr. Víctor M. Eguíluz, was based on models of mobility and involved data analysis from the movement of marine animals, as well as development of a model that reproduces the key features observed in the data.

In August 2016 he started his PhD research on “Inferring the structure of pulse-coupled oscillatory networks from data“.  His work is jointly supervised by Prof. Michael Rosenblum at Potsdam University, and Prof. Andreas Daffertshofer at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
